Haikus
In our fourth lesson of our Poetry Unit, our students learned about the haiku, a Japanese short-form poem. They learned about the 5-7-5 syllable rule and the technique of how to say more with less.
As an homework assignment, students were asked to write haikus about:
1) their favorite place that they have been
2) places they wish to go
3) write a poem as a samurai would before a battle

Why do clock towers

As it does not care.
