The Strongest Avenger: Scarlet Witch
by Haze Lam (6D) and Hailey Huang (6D)
Scarlet Witch - full name: Wanda Maximoff (actress Elizabeth Olsen - is a member of the Avengers but turned into a villain in Doctor Strange 2: The Multiverse of Madness, and unluckily, she died as well.
Wanda has the power of telekinesis, energy manipulation, and some form of neuroelectronic interfacing that allows her to both read thoughts and also give her targets waking nightmares.
Wanda first appeared in “Avengers 2” as a villain with her twin, Quicksilver, who died in that movie at first. It is because Tony Stark accidentally bombed their house and their parents, but turned out to be the strongest avenger at last with her brother and her husband who also died in “Avengers 3”.
In “Avengers 3, Infinity War”, the strongest villain, Thanos, wanted to take the mind stone out of Vision’s brain, but unluckily Wanda isn’t fast enough to kill Vision herself. Thanos then used the time stone to reverse time. Finally he got all the 7 stones which made half the people of Earth disappear, including the broken down Wanda.
And in the last Avengers film, “Avengers 4: Endgame”, all the disappeared people came back to reality - of course, Wanda as well - to the time Wanda met Thanos. She used all of her power to try and kill Thanos. Her conversation with Thanos is scary:
Wanda: ”You took away everything from me.”
Thanos: ”I don't even know who you are.”
Wanda: ”YOU WILL.”
Wanda almost killed him but Thanos’ helpers shot rain fire towards her, so she got hurt really badly.
The director of Marvel did receive a question from a fan:
”If Thanos didn't have help, would Wanda have actually beaten him?”
”The answer is: Yes. She can defeat Thanos in 1 minute.”
With all of this evidence and movements, we can be sure that the strongest Avenger in Marvel is always going to be — Scarlet Witch.
