Have you ever thought about landing on the moon somedays? Then you must read this article that tells you interesting facts about the moon. Sometimes, the moon appears orange, yellow or blue.T here are special names for different kinds of moon that's hilarious!

The Rarest Moon : Blue Moon

The last blue moon is on 19 August,2024, and the next blue moon is on 31 May,2026. It appears blue because there is some smoke or dust in the universe that can scatter away red wavelengths to make the moon turn blue. 

How Old Is The Moon?

Have you ever thought of this question? The Moon is indeed very old. The Moon is at least 4.46 billion years old, shortly after the formation of Earth.  The age is determined by various methods, such as analyzing moon samples brought back by NASA Apollo missions and comparing them to Earth's age. I don’t think that you have ever heard that the moon is that old! If you want to learn more about it, just fly into space and take a closer look, this might actually happen in the near future.


Why Are There Moon Eclipses?

         The next total eclipse is on 21 February, 2027. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, causing a shadow on the Moon.  This can only happen during a full moon when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the sun.

Can we Live Without the Moon?

As we know, it wouldn't be able to survive. If the moon vanished, the seasons would eventually change,and the earth’s tilt could change wildly.
