The Best Soccer Team

Arsenal is the best soccer team in the world. They are also at the top of the English Premier League—how staggering! The teams’s best players are Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka. They are mostly skillful and strong, I really like them. Recently, at the World Cup, Gabriel Jesus was injured while playing for his country, Brazil. Still, there is Eddie Nketiah to help the team and fill the void for Gabriel Jesus.

At the time of writing, the defending champions — Manchester City — is 8 points behind Arsenal. But did you know that Arsenal also has another name? The Gunners!  Arsenal have defeated Liverpool, their arch rivals Tottenham — twice — and Brighton & Hove Albion so far this season. Coming up, Arsenal needs to keep the pace up by defeating Manchester United and Manchester City! How invigorating!

In FA Cup action — England’s top domestic cup competition — Arsenal beat Oxford United in the latest round with two goals from Eddie Nketiah and one goal from Mohamed Elneny, that was extremely intoxicating!

In the January transfer window — when professional teams from Europe try to improve their teams by signing players from other squads — Arsenal had hoped to buy a player called Mykhalio Mudryk. The Ukrainian had dropped another hint about his desire to join Arsenal by liking a parody Instagram post depicting him being held prisoner by Shakhtar Donetsk as they continue to hold out for bigger offers. The winger, who at one time posted updates on his Instagram showing him watching Arsenal games, in one of which he described Mikel Arteta as a "top coach,” was believed to be keen on a move to the Emirates Stadium. Ultimately, and disappointingly — for him — he decided to sign for Arsenal’s Premier League rivals, Chelsea.

By the end of this season, I hope Arsenal will win the FA Cup and go into the Champions League, the most prestigious European top-level football tournament, and be the most approachable team in UK!
