Leung Family Adopts a Goldfish

by Angie Leung (4F)

The Leung family has always wanted a goldfish, especially Angie, but because their home doesn’t have any space for the pets to sleep or run, they couldn’t have a pet. Angie suddenly realized that they don’t need to buy a pet like dogs or cats, they can have a pet like fish. A small pet like that does have a place to stay! The 30th of April was a big day for the Leung family. On that day, they were going to buy their first pet in their lives! They went to Prince Edward by MTR and went to Goldfish Street. They looked over 15 fish shops and finally they found a beautiful goldfish! They payed for the fish and went back home. They also decided the fish’s name: Pudding. Pudding is a clever fish. It has a big, orange tail. It also has big, black eyes. It always hides in the grass until the Leung family feeds it. Its favourite activity is swimming, swimming and swimming. It swims very fast, so it is difficult to wash the fish tank because washing the fish tank’s first step is catching the fish. The Leung family decided to split the work between everyone to make sure the fish is healthy.  Father’s job is feeding and washing the tank, mother’s job is to buy some things that the fish needs and the kids’s job is feeding the fish. The Leung family hoped that the fish can be healthy always. The Leung family plans to get another goldfish. Maybe Pudding will make friends with it
