Cooking Corn

Have you ever had lunch and thought:  Why am I craving corn? Then you start to cook corn. You start to cook, but YOU FORGOT HOW TO COOK! So, I’ve got some recipes to share with you.

1st Recipe:

Ingredients:

Corn

Some BUTTER  (optional) 

A microwave

Step 1: Place unshucked corn on a microwave-safe dish.

Step 2: Cook for 4 minutes, add more time if needed until kernels are tender.

Step 3: Cool corn for 5 minutes before removing the husk and silk.                  

Step 4: Apply butter on the corn (optional).


2nd Recipe:

Ingredients:

Corn

Some BUTTER  (optional) 

Some water in a pot

Step 1: Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the corn.

Step 2: Bring to a boil.

Step 3: Shuck the corn.

Step 4: Add corn to the boiling water, cover it, and reduce the heat to medium.

Step 5: Cook corn until the kernels are tender, 6 to 8 minutes.

Step 6: Apply butter on the corn (optional).


3rd Recipe:

Ingredients:

Corn

Steamer Basket

A Pot

Some BUTTER  (optional)                                    

Step 1: Add water to pot, making sure it doesn’t rise above the steamer basket.

Step 2: Place the steaming basket and then the corn into the pot.

Step 3: Cover the pot and heat on high until the hot water starts to steam.

Step 4: Cook the corn until the kernels are tender, about 4 to 6 minutes.

Step 5: Apply butter (optional)


 4th Recipe:

Ingredients:

Corn

Aluminum Foil

Some BUTTER  or SALT  (or maybe both)

(Do it while you’re having a barbeque)

Or just roast it in the oven

Step 1: Apply butter and salt to corn

Step 2: Wrap aluminum foil around corn

Step 3: Put the corn in the barbeque (or oven)

Step 4: Cook for about 30 minutes 

Step 5: Cool for about 5 minutes

Step 6: Ready to eat!
