Book review: Thea Stilton and the Ghost of the Shipwreck
by Angie Leung (4F)
This book was written by Geronimo Stilton’s sister, Thea Stilton.
There was a shipwreck off in the Whale Island and a diamond was lost when the ship sank. When Thea heard that the professor had disappeared, the five mice needed to dive deep into the ocean to find him and hopefully recover the diamond! And just when they thought their adventures were over, the five are invited to China to search for another lost treasure!
Meet the writer and the Thea Sisters!
Thea Stilton is a special correspondent for The Rodent’s Gazette, Mouse Island’s most famous newspaper. She came back to the Mouseford Academy to teach a journalism class. And than she met Nicky, Colette, Violet, Paulina and Pamela, they are now the Thea Sister! You can’t believe that the mice came from different countries and have different personalities, such as Nicky loves outdoors activity but Colette doesn’t love it, she loves doing manicures and pedicures at home. Violet loves drinking and eating Chinese food but Pamela loves eating American food, but they become sister, more than friends!
Between The Thea Sister, my favourite character is Paulina. She comes from Peru. She loves travelling, and she is also a computer genius. In the story, she helped with lots of things, such as finding the treasure map.
This is a brilliant story which is full of imagery! My favourite part of the story was when they were searching for the secret of the box because you will be very nervous about whether they can figure out what the clues are and how they can get the treasure faster than the wicked women. I give this story 9/10 and I also highly recommend this book.
