Ants!

Ants …

are creatures that have six legs and they are everywhere. You can find them in rainforests, roads and in trees.

Most people think that ants are only underground, but they can be found in trees, too. And fire ants can survive in ponds and rivers.

Queen ants are the biggest of the ants in the ant colony and they can fly as well. They lay eggs and some of the ants take care of them. Male ants find food and female ants kill the enemy that are trying to get inside their hole.

When ants die, they will let out a strong smell to warn the other ants to keep out.

There are different types of ants and they have different kinds of power too. Some ants have poison that can kill the enemy that is trying to kill them. 

When the two groups of ants come together, they fight each other to extend lands of theirs. 

 They eat dead insects and store them in their home. 

I like fire ants the most, because they are cool. When the flood comes every spring, they stick together and become an ant boat because their feet trap air inside so they can flow on the water. 

Ants are everywhere, just look around you, then you will find them.
