The Chase

Matt Qasim, a venturous explorer, was roaming through the Amazon Forest with Ash Astor, Matt’s best friend, assistant and also a cowardly daredevil, regretting his decision as he walked closer to the wild grizzly bear. It was an idiotic choice to do Ash’s dare. Matt knew Ash always thinks of dares like hitting a wealthy business man on the back or hiding in the closet for a day.
Ash yelled, “If you’re going to do the dare, make sure to remember to sing in front of the bear, don't be a scaredy cat!”
He bravely stepped in front of the bear and sang, “ Is this the real life…Is this j-just.. fantasy..? Caught in a landside…” And immediately he ran behind a few lime bushes where a chortling Ash was hiding.
The bear was growling and dashing toward a few bushes behind a tree. Hearing a “THUD”, the boys turned around but luckily, the bear was searching the bushes beside them. Without a second to spare, the two boys sped away from the bear and found a wooden cabin that had constantly creaking walls and a sombre inside, which was on top of a swamp that was near moss that covered half of the cabin. Despite the terrifyingly-looking indoors and outdoors, they still quickly went in to conceal themselves in the cabin from the bear. As they turned around, they saw a large furry shadow going in their direction and they sat in the gloomiest part of the cabin—the bathroom, to attempt to camouflage into the walls. It got closer and closer by the second.
As an explorer, Matt wasn’t too scared since he had been in more terrifying situations before but Ash was trembling, Matt whispered, “Serves you well for this absolutely terrible dare.”
Ash who was still quivering in the corner, replied, “ Well, you did the dare…”
Matt mumbled back, “You’re scared of everything, might as well not bring you here next time.”
Ash said, “ Sure! This place is terrible!” Ash’s voice was so blaring that the shadow turned towards them and swung on trees towards them. It was a young but strong monkey. Fortunately, it was friendly and took them out of the forest and they jumped in joy but the bear caught up and growled and suddenly the area turned dark, Matt and Ash screamed. The bear slowly pulled his head off with a shouting sound coming from something or someone inside it…
“CUT!”, yelled the director, Miss Jackson and he said, "Everyone did great this time. Hector, your voice needs to be a bit louder. You know that Matt has a loud voice. Except for that, this take was absolutely perfect but Kenji, why did you take off the head? Whatever! The editing team has got some extra work to do, I guess. Anyways we’ll do part 2, EVERYONE! Get to your places.”
