The Hong Kong Space Museum covers a whole area of 1,600 square meters which has two big exhibit halls: “The Hall of the Cosmos” and “The Hall of Space Exploration”.  They house a hundred exhibits of which about 70 % are interactive designs.

The Hong Kong Space Museum can be found in Tsim Sha Tsui, opposite The Peninsula Hotel near East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. You can see the museum very clearly because of its hemisphere shape.

Last weekend, I went to the museum and wondered if it was the most awesome museum I have ever visited.  In “The Hall of the Cosmos", there was a "Big Bang Theatre" that revealed the evolution of the Universe from the Big Bang, which was very interesting.

In “The Hall of Space Exploration”, I entered an upside down virtual space station to experience the disorientating feeling in a weightlessness environment.  Although I found it was hard to walk and I felt a little bit dizzy, the experience was really unforgettable.

I also enjoyed many other games and experiments in the museum and want to go there again.  I hope that you will also visit the museum and share my wonderful experience.
