“Once, the first Master of Spinjitzu used the four golden weapons to create Spin City. These weapons are: the Sword of Fire, The Spear of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, and, um, what’s the last one?” Master Wu said to his team of ninjas, Jay, Master of Lightning, Kai, Master of Fire, Zane, Master of Ice, Cole, Master of Earth, Nya, Master of Water and Lloyd, Master of Power. The team’s inventor, Pixel, was also there, working on a time portal for their mission.

"The Trident of Earth..." grumbled Cole. The Ninja could see that the Master of Earth was a bit frustrated because he was always the one that was left out.

"Ah, yes. After the Master had died, the two sons vowed to use the weapons to defend Spin City. But the older brother, the Overlord, broke his vow and used the weapons to destroy the city. The younger brother, who is me, had to stop him. Our battle shook the Earth, and I finally sent him down to the underworld. But then an old enemy of ours, the Vengestone Skeletons, found and healed him because they wanted the Overlord to work for them. But, after the Overlord was healed, he became their king. The Skeletons built the Overlord a time machine so he can go back in time to take revenge and finish what he once started. "

"What? We have to go back in time just because of those troublemakers?" moaned Jay.

"Yes, and this time they are even more powerful than the last time we saw them. We have to be careful. Oh, one more thing. Have you learned how to summon The Tornado of Creation yet? If you have, defeating the Overlord will be much easier.”

“Well…no. It’s too hard, even though we have tried combining our Spinjitzu ten times every day since you showed us the scroll.” mumbled Cole.

“You guys, always like this. Once I tell you to practise a new move, always ten years. Pixel, are you done with the portal yet?" asked Master Wu.

"Precisely. There’s still a few finishing touches though, because I haven’t got enough time to do it on time. I hope you understand, Master Wu.”

"We cannot wait that long. Activate it right now." said Master Wu as the ninjas pulled down their masks. Pixel grabbed a remote control and pressed a button. A blue portal immediately appeared and the ninja leapt in.

When the ninjas were in the portal, they saw that they were floating in the blueness. "It’s like flying through a different universe." remarked Lloyd to himself.

When they landed, they saw lots of skeletons all around them. They didn’t ask each other what to do, they all agreed with just a gesture. They began to fight. Lloyd shot green blasts out of his hands, Jay blasted them with powerful lightning blasts, Kai turned them to ashes with his fire, Cole hurled rocks at the skeletons, Zane turned them into ice statues with his ice, and Nya created a water tornado and knocked them back.

Soon, the ninjas surveyed the now skeleton-less forest. They were all victorious.

The ninjas started to look for the Overlord, but after two hours they still haven’t got a clue of where the Overlord might be.

"Maybe he’s up there?" asked Kai, pointing at a huge mountain.

"Let’s go and find out," said Zane. The ninjas started to spin, until they were tornados. They sped up the mountain and soon, they reached the top. The Overlord was standing there. The ninjas didn’t hesitate, and spun right into him. The Overlord fell, but quickly bounced back up again. The ninjas used their elemental powers, but they did no harm to the Overlord’s hard armour. Then, the Overlord’s hands turned bright purple, and he blasted them with a few powerful blasts that almost knocked the ninjas near the mouth of a volcano. The ninjas found their balance and attacked again with a barrage of blows.

The blows knocked the Overlord off balance, but he was unharmed.

"We are not strong enough to defeat him! We are outnumbered!" exclaimed Zane.

"You are weak! You are no match for me, you fools!" roared the Overlord, turning around to hold the weapons.

"Are you sure?" asked Jay. The ninjas had summoned the Tornado of Creation by combining their tornados!

"What? This is not possible!" cried the Overlord, surprised that the ninjas knew how to summon the Tornado of Creation.

"Actually, it’s very possible," said Lloyd. The tornado exploded, knocking the Overlord off his feet and into the volcano. A great big red smoke raised above their heads, and the ninjas knew that they had destroyed the Overlord once and for all. They cheered, celebrating their victory, but soon, they heard a voice. The rest of the skeletons had seen their leader fall, and had run up the mountain as fast as their skinny bone legs could carry them. The ninjas bashed, kicked, spun, punched, chopped and every word you could think about fighting. They soon cleared a path but there were still thousands of them on their tail. They ran as fast as they could, hiding in a bush.

"What do we do? This place is swarming with skeletons. It’ll be impossible to escape," said Zane.

Just then, the blue portal appeared on the opposite side from where the ninja stood. They made a break for it , spinning their way through the skeletons and right into the portal. They had succeeded in destroying the Overlord and had escaped the skeletons. The skeletons tried to follow, but the portal closed before they could reach it. They howled in anger.

"So how did it go? Did you manage to stop the Overlord?" asked Master Wu as soon as they landed with a thud.

"Yes, and we also destroyed him once and for all. Also, we finally learned how to summon the Tornado of Creation! And how did you know when to open the portal for us?" said Kai.

"Easy. We can see everything if Zane turns on the camera in his head. Now, who wants dinner? I have made… My Wu special!" said Wu.

"Ugh, the Wu special always makes my tummy sick." whispered Nya, hoping Master Wu couldn’t hear her, but……

“Hey, I heard that!’ yelled Master Wu. They all laughed.

“I guess I will have an upset tummy after all,” mumbled Nya. The rest agreed, laughing.
