Halloween Mix-up
by Summer Choi 6A
On Halloween, which is an extremely opaque day, Sammy walked down the street to find his father and mother.
“Where did Dad and Mum go?” he thought, “and why did Grandma send me out?”
He was solitary and miserable. Sammy’s eyes became so watery that it nearly flooded. Just when Sammy was getting near the supermarket, two familiar shadows emerged in front Sammy. Sammy was surprised.
He yelled, “Dad, Mum!”
But a second later, he found that he recognized the wrong person. Standing in front of him is two ghastly looking monsters.
Sammy screamed at the top of his lungs and ran as fast as he could. The monsters chased him down town. Sammy panicked. He ran to the harbour. He heard the ships honked, like telling him to go another way but he didn’t mind that nonsense. A moment later, Sammy found himself stuck in a corner, and the two monsters were surrounding him. Sammy was scared, but he wasn’t a scaredy cat.
“I won’t let you monsters kill me, you already killed my parents!” he barked as he jumped down to the sea.
Suddenly, he felt a fluffy grip of his hand. He looked up, and saw that the monsters saved him. Sammy just stood there, then realized something. Suddenly, the monsters took off their heads and inside were two people, Sammy’s father and mother! Sammy was aghast.
Sammy’s dad and mum said, “Happy Halloween!”
