Revenge of the Dragon

“EEEEKKKK!”
One day, Kaga was practising his fencing skills with his grandmother watching in the garden. With his blond hair swishing in the wind, he launched into a wild move. But then, Kaga felt a rumble in the ground, and a dragon with purple scales tore a hole in the sky.
“Oh no! The legend has happened!” His grandmother croaked.
“What legend?!” Kaga shrieked.
“It’s a legend about —”
Suddenly, a bolt of purple lightning shot out from the dragon’s ragged skin. It struck Kaga's grandmother, and she collapsed in the garden. Kaga could only watch as his grandmother wheezed out her last words. “Fight for the world and me, great - grandson. Don’t let this monster triumph. The fate is in your hands…” The monster then scooped up Kaga and disappeared through the hole with him.
“NOOOOO!” Kaga wailed.
Kaga found himself lying on a soft meadow. His sword laid beside him. Kaga stared at the alien pink sky, and felt the soft breeze around him. He wiped away a tear. He couldn’t believe his grandmother was… “Gone." Kaga whispered.
Kaga decided to fight the horrendous monster for once and for all. He hauled his sword up and he walked across the meadow. Kaga completed lots of treacherous obstacles. He leaped over a lava pond, and he got chased by a huge electrifying eel. On the way to the monster’s den, Kaga met a monster called Kai. Kai was friendly. He joined Kaga for the journey.
Finally, they reached the Isle of Ruins, where the horrifying dragon monster resided.
Kaga found the dragon up a mountain of ragged stones. “Give back my grandmother!” Kaga yelled at the dragon.
That caught the dragon off guard. He stretched his wings, and bolts of lightning surrounded Kaga. “Move one foot, you're dead!” The dragon cackled.
“Why are you doing this?” Kaga said, shuddering.
The dragon looked him in the eye. “Listen, you humanoid, I’m Regna. I remember you as Kaga, right?”
“Yes…”
“Then you're the one who destroyed my sister years ago!” Fire ran through Regna’s eyes. He lifted his claws, and a ball of fire shot out at Kaga. Kaga dodged, and he swung his sword. His trusty monster with blue scales came gliding over.
“Good boy, Kai.” Kaga petted his monster. “ Help me defeat this beast!” Kaga commanded.
“Oh no you won’t!” Renga hissed. He slammed his fist on the platform, and millions of sparks shot out. One of them hit Kaga. He collapsed onto the ground. “Ha ha ha!” Cackled Renga.
“ Still… You're not going to win and you're gonna regret this!” Kaga hopped onto Kai and raised his sword.
BOOM! A strip of energy formed on Kaga’s sword and he launched it at Regna. Regna fell down and down into the cliff below. “That’ll teach you!” Kaga hollered into the empty darkness.
Even though Kaga had defeated the monster, he could not save his grandmother. He couldn’t help but feel a deep wound in his heart that would stay forever.
