Magnetic Poetry: A Class Exercise (2021-2022)

As a warm-up to our new Poetry unit, we have introduced the students the Magnetic Poetry App, compiling given words together to make quick, short poems.

For 3 weeks in the Poetry Unit, the students start the lesson writing a poem with only 15 minutes at their disposal. As the weeks went by, the students developed their sense of imagery and beauty, and began writing about feelings and slowly developing their own individual voices.
